Today, March 27, is a really busy day for us, because it's Quad Release Day. Two albums and two singles are ready to rock the world!
The first album release is the new TIMELESS RAGE album MY KINGDOM COME. The album's content revolves around the major themes of power, freedom, rebellion, love, guilt, war, and the cycle of life and death. Theological, mythological, and human perspectives are interwoven, questioning moral certainties as well as religious and social structures. It is a sophisticated, consistently composed symphonic power metal album that shines with epic power, emotional depth, and philosophical ambition. Since their formation in 2012, TIMELESS RAGE have carved out their own niche with an unmistakable blend of catchy power metal, detailed melodic metal, symphonic influences, and dark, mystical tones. With MY KINGDOM COME the band delivers a work that appeals to genre fans as well as listeners who value storytelling, atmosphere, and musical class. A strong statement and probably one of the most ambitious Symphonic Power Metal albums of 2026. To celebrate the release there is a fantastic new video for the title track!
The new WHITE SKIES album SHOUTING AT THE HURRICANE, produced by Mick, Ray, and Pete, who was also responsible for mixing and mastering, is the band's next logical step toward catapulting themselves to the top and our second album release for today. The album breathes the spirit of classic Adult Oriented Rock and confidently transports it into the here and now, without sounding dusty or old-fashioned. It showcases not only the entire spectrum of AOR, but also the very best this musical style has to offer. The songs captivate with first-class, timeless songwriting and unique virtuosity, and with them the band revives the golden era of melodic rock with substance and soul. The big choruses and emotional melodies linger exactly where classic AOR belongs: in the heart. SHOUTING AT THE HURRICANE is the album for lovers of melodic rock and perfect for stages around the world. One clear sign of this is certainly the fact that the latest single 88 CRASH is still in rotation on PLANET ROCK RADIO.
Our third and first single release today is the new DARK SKY single ANOTHER TIME. After the band’s fantastic cover version of the ’80s smash hit YOU SPIN ME ROUND (LIKE A RECORD) by DEAD OR ALIVE, ANOTHER TIME is the first harbinger of the upcoming album. It is the first release featuring their new bass player Jürgen Heuwetter and an emotional, anthemic track with classic DARK SKY vibes. Lyrically, the song deals with loss, memories, and the strength to move forward. Driven by soaring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, it transforms grief into hope and reminds us that the people we lose remain with us forever.
Last but not least is the release of the first single A SECOND SHADOW, taken from the upcoming second MODUS BLACK album FROM THE BASEMENT, which will see the light of day June 19. The song clearly sets the direction for what can be expected from the upcoming album. Raw and no-frills, without losing sight of their musical roots. Because this isn’t about trends, it’s about real, handcrafted music with attitude. It’s about honest energy and music that endures. Heavy metal that isn’t just heard, but has to be experienced!
