PERCOSSA FOSSILE's "Magnitudo" explores the theme of inner turmoil rather than actual earthquakes. It delves into feelings of instability, anxiety, and those moments when we seem to be falling apart, even as everything appears fine on the surface. Lyrics are mind-blowing hallucinations, while the music features polyrhythms, free improvisation, massive distortion, and punk/prog drifts, just like a psychic journey with no destination. The album weaves together raw instrumental tracks with darker, more atmospheric sounds, united by a common thread: the fusion of primal tones and complex rhythms. "Magnitudo" emerges as a mutant creature, wild and unpredictable, yet profoundly human in its expression.
