Die mit einem GRAMMY ausgezeichnete Singer-Songwriterin und Schauspielerin Lainey Wilson kommt nun mit ihrer nächsten Single "Wildflowers and Wild Horses", nachdem Wilson den Song bei den 57th Annual CMA Awards in Nashville, Tennessee, erstmals im Fernsehen präsentierte.
„Wildflowers and Wild Horses", die dritte Single aus ihrem von der Kritik gefeierten und preisgekrönten Album Bell Bottom Country, ist eine nachdenkliche Geschichte über Wilsons Leben, "barfuß und ohne Sattel". Der gefühlvolle und doch südländische Track, begleitet von Wilsons unverkennbarem Sound, vermischt Elemente aus Western, Rock und Americana, um einen modernen und doch traditionellen Country-Song als Ode an ihre Wurzeln hervorzubringen.
Mit ihrer einzigartigen Songwriter-Stimme, die ihre Western-Wurzeln und ihre Erziehung in den Vordergrund stellt, liefert Wilson mit "Country's Cool Again" ausserdem noch einen brandneuen Song, der die Wiederbelebung des Country-Genres in der heutigen Gesellschaft unterstreicht. Der Song verbindet Elemente aus Rock, Americana und Country zu einem sofortigen Klassiker, der sich durch seinen Südstaaten-Charme auszeichnet.
Am 04. Februar 2024 wurde Wilson bei den 66th Annual GRAMMY Awards zum ersten Mal ausgezeichnet. Wilson bekam die Auszeichnung für Bell Bottom Country wurde als bestes Country-Album, sie war ausserdem für ihre Zusammenarbeit mit Jelly Rolls "Save Me" als beste Country-Duo-/Gruppen-Performance nominiert.
