Crime Records proudly announces the new album of Norwegian Cinematic Black Metallers PROFANE BURIAL!
"My Plateau" is set for release on March 1st 2024 on CD, LP and digitally.
PROFANE BURIAL presents an atmospheric, dismal, and grim journey through unsanctified Cinematic Black Metal, a sub-genre often featuring atmospheric and symphonic elements, drawing inspiration from film scores and other forms of orchestral music.
The sophomore album is very intense and has a more extreme approach than their debut "The Rosewater Park Legend" from 2018. It leans even further towards Black Metal, not only due to the high-pitched vocals but also because of the significant use of traditional tremolo guitars. The songs are quite intricate and progressive in both tempo and time signatures.
"My Plateau" was mixed & mastered by Børge Finstad at Toproom Studio. The cover artwork was created by Sondre Tajet Søbyskogen.
