Time for the mighty Dutch Thrash Metal institution DEAD HEAD to show a sign of life. A brand new EP called “Shadow Soul” is coming just in time for the 35th birthday which will be celebrated with a show in their hometown. The fantastic artwork is made once more by Vladimir Chebakov, who also made the artwork for “Slave Driver” from 2022. “Shadow Soul” clocks in at 28 minutes of pure Thrash fury (as always) and will see be released on CD and vinyl.
Re-issue alarm coming in! After a year of hard work we will release the ORPHANAGE project “Oblivious To Time”. This fine release will feature the first two ORPHANAGE albums “Oblivion” and “By Time Alone” and the demo-compilation “Morph / Druid” in a 3-CD Boxed set, both albums on vinyl and a very limited edition of the two albums on vinyl with the demos on vinyl as third vinyl. ORPHANAGE was a band that exploded on the Dutch scene by 1994 and became a big household name in the years 1995-2004. They played all big stages in Europe and were praised for their unique, innovative style of Death Metal (with melody and gothic influences being added). Everything has been painstakingly re-mastered and artwork rebuild from almost scratch with full back up of the band themselves.
And we have heard the call, TRISTITIA’s “One With Darkness” will be released on vinyl finally. A limited edition of 300 copies in two colors is what we will present you on this timeless Underground classic, which was maybe the first Doom/Black album ever.
APRIL:
French progressive Black Metal band ACOD will release their new album “Versets Noirs” on CD and LP in February and they continue in the footpaths of their previous killer albums. Massive diverse Black Metal with hooks, memorable and skillfully recorded and produced. Among the tracks will be a cover of SAMAEL’s “Black Trip”. Be prepared for a Black Metal highlight that just screams quality!
We have announced our renewed co-operation with Sweden’s SARCASM and this long-running band (started in 1990) will present you their 5th studio album “Mourninghoul” and while all their albums are strong ones they have outdone themselves with this new one. Fans of Unanimated, Dissection, Dawn and Necrophobic will get a smile on their face when listening to this album for sure! We will do a limited edition on CD and nice vinyl edition. More news soon.
TRISTITIA’s “Crucidiction” will be released on vinyl in a pressing of 300 copies. Doom/Black Metal that is still unique and no one sounded like TRISTITIA did. This, being their 2nd album, is objectively speaking the highlight in their discography and mandatory to all collectors of 90’s Scandinavian Underground Metal.
Active again on the live front in 2024 will be US Death Metal veterans OPPRESSOR. We have come to an agreement with this fine band to re-issue their whole catalogue on Vinyl and deluxe-CD editions, all remastered and restructured in artwork (preserving the original art and feel). We start in April with a vinyl only release called “The Demos” which obviously has their demo 1991 “World Abomination” and their demo 1993 “As Blood Flows” on LP, limited to 300 copies coming in two colors. This is US Death Metal from the early 90’s, and they were at par with Gorguts, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse and Monstrosity. Their three classic 90’s albums will be re-issued as well.
