‘Döp dem i eld’ (which translate as Baptize Them With Fire) is the title of the new single from Viking/Pagan metal act Thyrfing, the first new music from them in eight years! A powerful, heavy, and aggressive track packed with groove and melody, it’s the perfect way to re-establish the band and celebrate their new record deal with Despotz Records. The release is made available on all major streaming services as a normal release (listen here).
The NFT release of this single is one unique copy of the single with an animated moving artwork (artist: Niklas Sundin of Cabin Fever Media, ex-Dark Tranquillity) using blockchain technology to authenticate and designate an official copy of the piece allowing it to become a unique digital collectable. The piece went up for auction today with the starting price of 0,666 Ethereum (equals roughly 1200 USD).
